Most women love handbags. As a matter of fact, they usually have more than one, even several different ones. Every bag has a specific purpose, to go along with certain wardrobes, and of course, an everyday bag as well. Most will also own at least one designer bag. In fact, many women will stop other women on the street to tell them how much they love their handbag. There is a lot of pride when you purchase your very own designer bag.

There are many different brands of designer handbags that are must haves for women. Some prefer specific brands and some like to have a variety. These bags are not, just about the name brand. They are quality made bags, made to last. Coach handbags are made in all styles, and have the undeniable label attached. It will either be covered in C’s which are immensely popular,the word,or even stagecoaches. They were founded in 1941 in New York, and have grown tremendously throughout the world.

2. Kate Spade
Kate Spade is another favorite, that comes in many varieties, and styles. This is a newer company established in 1993, and quickly took the fashion world by storm. It’s flashy colors, and whimsical bags such as elephant or monkey shapes are adored by women all over. The Kate Spade bags will have their name plate on them as well as “Spade” symbols.

3. Chanel
Everyone knows Chanel for their expensive perfumes, and their handbags are no exception. Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel founded her business in 1910. Women all over the world wanted to be her, and would stop at nothing to wear her products to be the essence of, in her own words, “classy and fabulous”. Their trademark is the infamous initials of the founder, two opposing interlocking C’s designed by her.

4. Louis Vuitton
The world famous Louis Vuitton company is the oldest of these five, having been founded by Louis in 1854. Originally starting as a traveling trunk manufacturer, then adding more and more products to where it is, present day. Everyone can easily identify a Louis Vuitton bag. They usually have the intertwined LV initials all over or even in just one spot.

5. Gucci
Gucci is another well known company in the fashion world, which was founded in 1921. The designer of the same name was fascinated with suitcases guests brought in at the hotel he worked in. He went back to his native hometown of Florence, which is known for fine craftsmanship, and opened his own shop, with only the best, and the rest is history. Every woman needs to have at least one of these brands to feel beautiful.
